Our Mission
- To provide needs-based tuition assistance to low-income families
who want their children to attend an elementary school
or early childhood center in the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph.
- To support operations at Our Lady of the Angels, Our Lady
of Guadalupe, and Holy Cross schools.
- To fund programs that will improve the quality of student life and education in schools that are struggling financially.
Tuition Information
Each family makes a financial contribution - as much as they can afford
- toward their
children's tuition. With annual tuition averaging $3,000, very few have the means to send their children to our schools
without financial assistance.
Studies show that the cost to attend a Strong City School is half the cost of public education. A breakdown of our tuition is as follows:
- $1,500 for one semester
- $750 for one quarter
- $95 for one week
- $19 for one day
Since 1989, concerned members of the community have contributed more than $23 million to
open doors to neighborhood Catholic schools for children in Kansas City's poorest neighborhoods.
